MEL YAP
Mel Yap is a street photographer. Developing his style for over a decade, he applies his skill into every other style and subject matter he comes across in photography.
Yap composes music under the moniker East Vanguard, music which he calls the soundtrack to his life. He also combines his visual and musical skills into film, where cinematography and soundtrack meet.
When not busy being creative, Mel stays inspired by raising his son Mako and his daughter Freesia with his partner Jen. They live in a happy little apartment in Vancouver with lots of plants and a 46 gallon fishtank.
